3 Gamers you recommend – Drcossack - DrCossack is a twitch staple. If you are in a twitch chatroom, there is a 90 percent chance Dr C is in there as well. He is a great supporter to myself and the twitch community. Anova80 - Anova80 is an all around great streamer. Great with his audience and really good at Metroid. Prawnzo - Prawnzo is the perfect mix of great gameplay and great chat interaction. He is the nicest guy on twitch and will make any afternoon fun with his chill streams.
How did you get into speed running – I found my NES in an old box one day and decided to hook it up to the tv. I played Metroid since I played it as a kid. I ended up beating it in less than an hour and wondered if my time was good or not. I had no idea about speedrunning at the time. I google searched Metroid times and found speedrun.com From there I found out by posting my video to YouTube there was a whole community on discord and this thing called twitch. I started my first stream late summer of 2018 and a guy called CHX42 popped into my stream and wished me good luck. I have met a ton of great people and the rest is history in the making.
Anything else you want to add – Twitch for me is a hobby. It isn’t for making money. I enjoy playing games and interacting with chat. The people and friends I have met along the way is the best thing that could have happened to me.
